Job Description
Join Philadelphia Distilling as an Entry-Level Bottling Line Worker! This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in the craft spirits industry. You will be an integral part of our production team, ensuring our quality spirits are bottled, labeled, and packaged efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor various machines on the bottling line, including fillers, labelers, and cappers, after receiving full training.
- Perform quality checks on bottles, labels, and packaging to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Load and unload bottles onto the production line.
- Package finished products into cases and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with equipment setup and changeovers as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes.
- Basic communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be at least 21 years of age due to working in a distillery environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting (not required, but a plus).
- Understanding of basic safety procedures in a warehouse or factory setting.
