Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Platform Migration Assistant to join our team on a contract basis. This role is 100% remote and provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in large-scale e-commerce operations and platform management. You will play a crucial supportive role in ensuring a smooth and efficient transition as we migrate our existing e-commerce assets to a new, enhanced platform. The ideal candidate will assist with data collection, content organization, quality assurance, and administrative tasks related to the migration project. This is a fast-paced environment where your ability to manage multiple tasks and learn new systems quickly will be key to success. Start immediately and contribute directly to a high-impact project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, organization, and validation of e-commerce data, including product information, customer data, and order history.
  • Support content migration efforts, ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on migrated data and functionalities, identifying and reporting discrepancies.
  • Document migration processes, issues, and resolutions.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams to gather necessary information and facilitate tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to the project management team, including scheduling and note-taking.
  • Learn and utilize new e-commerce platforms and tools as required by the project.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce concepts or willingness to learn rapidly.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role.
  • Familiarity with any e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
  • Experience with data entry or content management systems.
  • A degree or certification in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
