Job Description
Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and looking for a fun, active part-time job? Coastal Escape Adventures is seeking an enthusiastic Escape Room Reset Attendant to join our dynamic team. Your primary role will be to meticulously reset our themed escape rooms between game sessions, ensuring every prop is in its place and every puzzle is ready for the next group of adventurers. This is a crucial role that keeps the magic alive, providing a seamless and exciting experience for all our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Meticulously reset escape rooms to their original state according to detailed checklists and diagrams after each game.
- Verify all props, clues, and puzzle components are correctly placed and functioning.
- Perform minor repairs or report significant issues with props and equipment to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within and around the escape rooms.
- Assist with guest reception and orientation as needed, providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor game flow and assist Game Masters during busy periods.
- Ensure guest safety protocols are followed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- A positive attitude and a passion for creating fun experiences.
- No prior escape room or similar experience required; full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment, or a customer-facing role.
- Familiarity with escape room games (as a player).
- Basic technical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
