Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished welds to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize welding processes and improve efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues as they arise.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a TIG and MIG Welder in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrable ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of various welding techniques and materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and best practices in welding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant welding certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
