Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Factory Operative to join our production team in Edinburgh. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing or food and beverage production. You will be an integral part of our brewing and packaging operations, ensuring the smooth flow of production and adherence to our high quality and safety standards. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for those with little to no prior experience but a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery under supervision, ensuring efficient operation.
- Assist with the packaging of finished products, including bottling, canning, and kegging.
- Perform quality checks on products and materials throughout the production process.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods, potentially using manual handling equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the factory floor and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
