Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Fertilizer Factory Hand to join our stable team in Goulburn. This ongoing full-time position is critical to the efficient operation of our fertilizer blending and distribution facility. You will be involved in various aspects of factory operations, including material handling, batching, packing, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role offers excellent opportunities for training and long-term career stability within a vital industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various machinery and equipment for blending, packing, and loading fertilizers.
- Handle raw materials and finished products, including bagging and palletizing.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Perform routine quality checks on products and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and contribute to a positive safety culture.
- Assist with general factory maintenance and cleaning duties as required.
- Operate forklifts and other mobile plant equipment (training provided if necessary).
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
