Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in special financial projects and initiatives as required, contributing to the overall fiscal health of the state.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a governmental or non-profit setting.
- Advanced proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
- Strong understanding of governmental accounting principles (GASB) and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial information.
Preferred Qualifications
