Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Foley Artist & Sound Effects Intern to join our dynamic team in Squamish, BC. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fascinating world of audio post-production. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning the art of creating realistic and imaginative sounds to enhance visual narratives. No prior professional experience is required; we are looking for individuals with a strong passion for sound, a keen ear, and a willingness to learn and contribute.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior Foley artists in setting up recording sessions, selecting props, and preparing the foley stage.
- Learn and practice various foley techniques to synchronize sounds with on-screen actions.
- Support sound designers in organizing, cataloging, and editing sound effects libraries.
- Shadow and observe recording, mixing, and editing processes for film, TV, and game projects.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for sound design and foley concepts.
- Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the audio team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the foley stage and sound studio.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for audio, sound design, or music production.

- Basic understanding of film or game post-production pipelines.
- Enrolment in or recent graduation from a relevant program (e.g., audio engineering, film studies, music production).
