Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Food Processing Manager to oversee our state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ. This critical role involves managing daily operations, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency within our food processing lines. You will lead a team, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily food processing operations, ensuring production targets are met.
- Manage and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Implement and enforce strict food safety and quality control standards (HACCP, GMP).
- Monitor inventory, scheduling, and logistics to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in food processing or manufacturing management.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Proficiency in production planning and inventory management.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
- Certification in HACCP and/or GMP.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in relevant software systems (e.g., ERP, production planning tools).
