Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Food Processing Manager to oversee our state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ. This critical role involves managing daily operations, ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency within our food processing lines. You will lead a team, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food processing operations, ensuring production targets are met.
  • Manage and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

  • Monitor inventory, scheduling, and logistics to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in food processing or manufacturing management.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP.

  • Proficiency in production planning and inventory management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in relevant software systems (e.g., ERP, production planning tools).
