Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Vending Machine Operator, playing a crucial role in ensuring our vending services across Ashford and surrounding areas are always fully stocked, operational, and clean. This is a hands-on role perfect for individuals who enjoy working independently, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to providing excellent service. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a company vehicle to service a designated route of vending machines.
- Replenish vending machines with a variety of products including snacks, beverages, and fresh food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of all vending machines and surrounding areas.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on vending machines as needed.
- Accurately manage inventory and cash collections, ensuring precise record-keeping.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Required Skills
- Full UK Driving License (clean record preferred).
- Ability to lift and carry stock items (up to 25kg).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and inventory.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a route-based service role or logistics.
- Familiarity with basic machine maintenance.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
