Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Food Styling Assistant to join our creative team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with a passion for food, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a desire to learn the intricacies of food styling for commercial photography and videography. You will work closely with our lead Food Stylists, assisting in all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and set management to ensure every dish looks its absolute best on camera. Full training will be provided to help you develop your skills in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead Food Stylists with the preparation and handling of food items for commercial shoots.
- Support in grocery shopping and sourcing specific ingredients as required by styling concepts.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of the styling kitchen, equipment, and pantry.
- Help with plating, garnishing, and general food presentation under guidance.
- Assist with set setup and breakdown, ensuring all food-related props and elements are ready.
- Learn and apply various food styling techniques for different food types and shoot requirements.
- Manage inventory of styling tools, equipment, and non-perishable supplies.
- Run errands related to shoot preparations and post-shoot wrap-up.
