Job Description
We are actively seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Gourmet Meal Kit Assembly Line Associate. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a full-time position in our chilled production facility located in Daytona Beach. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling various components of our gourmet meal kits, ensuring each kit meets our high standards for quality, presentation, and food safety. You will work within a temperature-controlled environment, contributing to the creation of premium meal solutions that delight our customers. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble meal kit ingredients according to detailed recipes and packing lists.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station in a chilled environment.
- Inspect ingredients for quality and freshness, reporting any discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP, FDA guidelines).
- Operate basic food production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient rotation as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the production supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a chilled environment (typically 35-40°F / 2-4°C).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic understanding of English for communication and safety instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food production, packaging, or assembly line environment.
- Familiarity with food safety practices (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
