Job Description
Join Serco Group plc as a Government Building Janitor in Bromley, Greater London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual seeking secure, full-time employment in a vital role. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of a key government facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants and visitors. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and dusting surfaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and maintained.
- Empty waste bins and transport refuse to designated disposal areas.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain organized storage areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or repairs needed to supervisors.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the building.
- Assist with minor spill clean-ups as required.
Required Skills

- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

- Knowledge of COSHH regulations (training provided).
- Basic first aid certification.
