Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart your career in hospitality but have no prior experience? Premier Inn Exeter is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our front-of-house team as a Trainee Hotel Receptionist. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity where full training will be provided, ensuring you gain all the necessary skills to excel in this exciting role. You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and ensuring their stay is comfortable and memorable. Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival and departure.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, including processing payments.
  • Answer incoming calls, manage reservations, and respond to guest inquiries via phone and email.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with luggage and other requests to ensure a comfortable stay.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy reception area.
  • Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Learn and adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
