Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Housekeeper / Room Attendant to join our exceptional team. This is an immediate start position with weekly pay, perfect for individuals who take pride in maintaining immaculate environments and contributing to outstanding guest experiences. As a vital part of our hospitality team, you will ensure our rooms and public areas are consistently clean, comfortable, and welcoming for all our guests. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily according to established standards and procedures.
- Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms, ensuring all items are well-stocked.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and ensure all towels are fresh and neatly folded.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including tubs, showers, toilets, and floors.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust all furniture and fixtures.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items promptly to supervision.
- Handle guest requests and complaints in a polite and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work cart and storage areas.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that include bending, lifting, pushing, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and products (training provided).
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, even if minimal.
- Customer service experience.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and standards.
