Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and observant Pet Boarding Night Attendant to join our team for the quiet overnight shift. This crucial role involves monitoring the well-being and safety of our boarding animals during the night, ensuring a calm and secure environment. You will be responsible for overnight supervision, light cleaning, and responding to any animal needs or emergencies that may arise. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who loves animals, is reliable, and enjoys a peaceful yet responsible work environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular rounds throughout the facility to monitor all boarding animals and ensure their safety and comfort.
- Observe animals for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior, reporting concerns to the morning staff.
- Ensure all kennels and common areas remain clean and tidy during the night.
- Provide fresh water and administer approved late-night medications as instructed.
- Respond calmly and effectively to any animal emergencies or unusual situations.
- Maintain accurate records of any incidents or observations made during the shift.
- Prepare the facility for morning operations, including light organizational tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all facility safety and animal care protocols.
Required Skills

- Ability to work independently and responsibly.
- Comfortable working in a quiet, overnight environment.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.

- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and first aid.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
