Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic PR Student Intern to join our communications team in Tamworth. This is a paid internship designed to provide an immersive learning experience within a fast-paced corporate environment. You will support our Public Relations department, contributing to various communication initiatives, media relations, and content creation. This role is ideal for an individual looking to kickstart their career in PR, offering direct exposure to real-world campaigns and the opportunity to develop foundational skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. Full training will be provided, and no prior professional experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials.
- Conduct media monitoring and compile daily news summaries.
- Support media outreach efforts, including maintaining media lists and coordinating interviews.
- Contribute to content creation for various internal and external platforms.
- Help organize and execute PR events and campaigns.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Research industry trends and competitor activities to inform communication strategies.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the PR team's daily operations.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
