Job Description
The Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program is an eight-to-ten week program for students interested in an immersive experience in the financial services industry. Participants are given the opportunity to work alongside full-time professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the firm’s core investment banking activities. This program is designed to provide comprehensive training, mentorship, and exposure to various aspects of investment banking, including mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, and capital markets transactions. Summer Analysts will develop foundational financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills while working on live client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and due diligence for various transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
- Build and maintain financial models, including valuation, merger, and leveraged buyout analyses.
- Research industry trends, competitive landscapes, and company-specific information.
- Support senior bankers on deal execution and client relationship management.
- Collaborate with internal teams across different divisions to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Participate in client meetings and internal strategy sessions as appropriate.
Required Skills
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date in Spring/Summer 2026.
- Strong academic record, preferably in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and intellectual curiosity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous coursework or projects in corporate finance, valuation, or financial modeling.
- Understanding of financial markets and current events.
- Leadership experience in academic or extracurricular activities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
