Job Description

Adlib is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Live Sound & FOH Mixing Intern to join our dynamic audio team. This on-site internship offers an unparalleled opportunity for individuals passionate about live sound production to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge equipment and learn directly from seasoned professionals. You will be immersed in the fast-paced world of live events, assisting with setup, operation, and teardown of professional audio systems for various productions. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead audio engineers with the setup, calibration, and strike of sound systems for live events.
  • Support front-of-house (FOH) and monitor engineers during sound checks and performances.
  • Learn about various audio equipment, including mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, and signal processors.
  • Help with cable management, equipment testing, and general stage duties.
  • Observe and learn FOH mixing techniques, gaining an understanding of acoustic principles and sound reinforcement.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised workspace and equipment inventory.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during event production.
  • Actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.
