Job Description
Join the Macy’s team as a Weekend Fitting Room Attendant! We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to help maintain our fitting rooms and assist customers during their shopping experience on weekends. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible hours in a dynamic retail environment. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly as they approach or enter the fitting rooms.
- Manage the flow of customers and items in and out of fitting rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within all fitting room areas, including folding clothes and clearing hangers.
- Return unwanted merchandise from the fitting rooms to the sales floor.
- Assist customers with finding additional sizes or styles as requested.
- Answer basic customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments or associates.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to security and customer service.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly throughout a shift
- A positive attitude and a passion for helping customers
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Availability to work primarily on weekends and some holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment (not required, but a plus)
- Familiarity with retail store operations
- A genuine interest in fashion and trends
