Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Marketing Analyst to join our innovative digital media team at AXA UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring professional to kick-start their career in marketing analytics within a large, reputable organisation. You will work within our in-house digital marketing department, focusing on digital media performance, consumer insights, and campaign optimization. This role is 100% remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK, while still being connected to our Ipswich hub for administrative purposes. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone with foundational analytical skills and a passion for digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of marketing data from various digital channels (e.g., social media, SEO, paid ads, website analytics).
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards on campaign performance, highlighting key trends, insights, and recommendations.
  • Support senior analysts in identifying opportunities for campaign optimization and improving ROI.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform digital strategy.
  • Help maintain data integrity and consistency across all marketing analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, content creators, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and present findings effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely.
  • A keen interest in digital marketing and data analysis.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing channels (e.g., SEO, SEM, social media).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Prior internship or project experience in a marketing or analytics role.
