Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Medical Device Kitting Assistant to join our clean room assembly team in Hartlepool. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and cleanliness. As a Kitting Assistant, you will be responsible for the precise assembly and kitting of medical device components within a controlled clean room environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate assembly and kitting of small medical device components according to strict work instructions and quality standards.
- Operate within a Class 7 (or similar) clean room environment, adhering to all gowning and contamination control procedures.
- Inspect components and finished kits for defects, ensuring all parts meet quality specifications.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation related to production batches, quality checks, and inventory.
- Utilize various hand tools and small machinery for assembly tasks.
- Assist with inventory management of components and finished goods within the clean room.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Report any deviations or quality issues promptly to supervisors.
