Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Medical Student Interns for a Hospital Clinical Rotation at our Tuggeranong facility. This unique internship offers an invaluable opportunity for current medical students to gain practical, hands-on experience in a dynamic clinical environment. Under the direct supervision of experienced medical professionals, interns will observe patient care, assist with basic procedures, participate in ward rounds, and engage in multidisciplinary team discussions. This program is designed to bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world medical practice, providing a foundational experience for future medical careers. Key Responsibilities
- Observe and assist medical staff in patient examinations and treatments.
- Participate actively in daily ward rounds and case discussions.
- Document patient observations and contribute to patient records under supervision.
- Learn and practice basic clinical skills and procedures.
- Shadow senior doctors in various specialties.
- Engage with patients and their families in a respectful and empathetic manner.
- Attend educational sessions and departmental meetings.
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital policies, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines.
