Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Membership Support Assistant to join our professional team in Tweed Heads. This pivotal role involves providing exceptional support to our valued members, ensuring their experience with ACF is positive and seamless. You will be the first point of contact for member inquiries, assisting with everything from membership renewals and donation queries to providing information about our campaigns and initiatives. This is an on-site role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for environmental conservation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries via phone, email, and mail.
  • Process membership applications, renewals, and updates accurately.
  • Manage and update member records in our CRM system.
  • Assist with processing donations and providing donor receipts.
  • Provide information about ACF's campaigns, events, and impact.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex member issues.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of member support processes.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic approach.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • A genuine interest in environmental conservation and the not-for-profit sector.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience working within a not-for-profit or membership-based organisation.
  • An understanding of basic data entry and record-keeping principles.
