Job Description
Borg Manufacturing is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our production team as Afternoon Production Hands at our Taree facility. This casual role is perfect for those looking for flexible work, an immediate start, and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a thriving manufacturing environment. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to successful candidates. You will play a key role in supporting our afternoon shift operations, ensuring efficient production and quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating basic production machinery and equipment under supervision.
- Performing quality checks on finished products to meet company standards.
- Assisting with packing, stacking, and preparing products for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to achieve production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift up to 15kg repetitively.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (not essential, but a plus).
- Forklift license (LF class) (not essential, but a plus).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
