Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our remote team as WFH Transcriptionists. This is a flexible typing work opportunity, perfect for those looking to work from home and manage their own schedules. You will be responsible for accurately converting audio and video files into written text, ensuring high levels of precision and adherence to specific guidelines. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to transcription or seeking a flexible career path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transcribe audio and video content accurately and efficiently into text format.
  • Ensure grammar, spelling, and punctuation are correct.
  • Adhere to client-specific style guides and formatting requirements.
  • Meet agreed-upon deadlines for assigned transcription tasks.
  • Review and proofread completed transcripts for quality assurance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all transcribed materials.
  • Communicate effectively with team leads regarding task progress or any challenges.

Required Skills

  • Excellent command of the English language (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
  • High level of typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM recommended).
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with word processing software and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with transcription software or platforms.
  • Familiarity with different audio accents and dialects.
  • Understanding of transcription style guides (e.g., verbatim, clean verbatim).
  • Experience in a remote work environment.
