Job Description
Join North Battleford Moving & Storage as a Mover / General Labourer and become an essential part of our dynamic team! This is an immediate start, entry-level position perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable work experience, including students. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the skills you need. You’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently moving household and office items, packing, loading, and unloading trucks, all while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off moving trucks.
- Properly pack, wrap, and protect items to prevent damage during transit.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed.
- Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and furniture pads.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Maintain cleanliness of trucks and equipment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties when not on moves.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
