Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Multi Drop Delivery Drivers to join our dynamic team in Cheltenham. As a Multi Drop Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of parcels to residential and business customers across designated routes within Gloucestershire. This role requires excellent time management, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work independently. Full training will be provided, but a strong work ethic and a valid driving license are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload parcels onto and off the vehicle.
- Deliver parcels to customers on assigned routes, ensuring accurate and timely drop-offs.
- Collect parcels from customers as required.
- Operate hand-held scanners to record all deliveries and collections.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving any delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the depot team regarding route progress or issues.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Ability to drive a long wheel base (LWB) van.
- Strong geographical knowledge of the Cheltenham and wider Gloucestershire area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Good physical fitness for lifting and carrying parcels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery role.
- Experience using hand-held scanning devices.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to work.
