Job Description

Canada Post is seeking dedicated Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers to join our team in Summerside, PEI. You’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of parcels and mail to residential and commercial customers within a designated route. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-provided delivery van to transport parcels and mail.
- Execute multi-drop deliveries and collections across a predefined route in Summerside and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring items are secured and organized for delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service at all delivery points.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 6 months.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and route planning abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or courier role.
- Familiarity with the Summerside, PEI area and its street network.
- Experience with handheld delivery devices or logistics software.
