Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance Department as an Entry Level Municipal Fines & Fees Collector. Key Responsibilities
- Process and collect payments for municipal fines, fees, and various city-related charges.
- Assist residents and businesses with inquiries regarding outstanding balances and payment procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications within the city's financial systems.
- Prepare daily reports detailing collections and outstanding accounts.
- Collaborate with other city departments to resolve collection issues and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to all municipal policies, procedures, and relevant state regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions, both in person and over the phone.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
