Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Music Supervision & Clearance Intern to join our dynamic team in Carlisle. You will work closely with our experienced music supervisors, learning the intricate processes of selecting, clearing, and integrating music into our productions. Key Responsibilities
- Assist music supervisors with music research, including identifying suitable tracks for specific scenes and projects.
- Support the clearance team in obtaining necessary licenses and rights for musical compositions and sound recordings.
- Enter and maintain accurate data within our music licensing databases and tracking systems.
- Liaise with music publishers, record labels, and artists' representatives under supervision.
- Organize and archive music-related documentation and contracts.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Learn about copyright law pertaining to music and its application in media production.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for music selection and creative briefs.
Required Skills
- Demonstrable passion for music, film, television, and media content.
