Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Nurses (NICU) to join our esteemed team in Fort Worth, Texas. This unique opportunity includes comprehensive international sponsorship, providing visa assistance and relocation support for qualified registered nurses from around the world. As a NICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to critically ill and premature infants, working collaboratively with neonatologists, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals. You will play a vital role in monitoring, assessing, and implementing care plans for our most fragile patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and optimal development. This role requires exceptional clinical skills, a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, and a profound sense of empathy for both infants and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients with a variety of complex medical conditions, including premature infants, critically ill newborns, and those requiring surgical intervention.
- Monitor vital signs, interpret diagnostic tests, and assess patient status continuously, documenting observations accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital policies.
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as ventilators, incubators, and monitoring devices.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate and support families regarding their infant's condition, treatment, and ongoing care needs.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to care conferences.
- Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional nursing standards.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions when necessary.
Required Skills
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from country of origin with ability to obtain Texas RN license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent international nursing degree
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Certifications such as BLS, PALS, or NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
