Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our night shift team as a Newspaper Inserter at our Footscray distribution centre. This part-time role is perfect for those looking for their first job, including high school students and young adults (teens) who are available for night shifts. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in your tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Manually insert advertising supplements, brochures, and other materials into various newspaper editions.
- Operate and monitor automated newspaper inserting machinery safely and efficiently after receiving comprehensive training.
- Ensure the correct number and type of inserts are placed into each newspaper bundle according to production schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines during night shifts.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including sorting and stacking newspaper bundles.
Required Skills
- Availability to work part-time night shifts (exact hours and days to be discussed).

- A strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
