Job Description
Are you a night owl looking for a new opportunity? Tesco in Bath is seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Shift Supermarket Assistant to join our friendly team. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our store is perfectly stocked and ready for customers each morning. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided to help you excel in this fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently replenish shelves and displays with new stock, ensuring accurate placement and presentation.
- Operate machinery such as pallet trucks safely after receiving appropriate training.
- Assist with the unloading of deliveries and ensure stock is stored correctly in designated areas.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and organization throughout your shift.
- Check product dates and rotate stock to minimize waste.
- Support your colleagues in a team-oriented environment to achieve daily targets.
- Prepare the store for the next day's trading, ensuring all aisles are clear and safe.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- A strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail for stock accuracy and presentation.
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
