Job Description
Join St. Bernards Medical Center as an Obstetrics and Gynecology Doctor, where you will provide comprehensive medical care to women across all stages of life. This includes prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, gynecological services, and reproductive health. Key Responsibilities
- Provide full scope obstetric care, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum management.
- Perform gynecological examinations, diagnoses, and treatments for a wide range of conditions.
- Conduct surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology as required.
- Offer family planning and reproductive health counseling.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency care as per departmental schedule.
- Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Ability to obtain medical licensure in the state of Arkansas.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clinical expertise in both obstetrics and gynecology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience practicing as an OB/GYN physician in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty (e.g., Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility).
- Experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems specific to OB/GYN.
