Job Description
We are actively seeking experienced and dedicated Oil & Gas Drillers to join our dynamic field operations team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for qualified international candidates, as we provide comprehensive visa sponsorship and a full relocation package. As an Oil & Gas Driller, you will be instrumental in the safe and efficient execution of drilling operations, contributing directly to our energy production goals. You will work with cutting-edge equipment, adhere to stringent safety protocols, and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain drilling rig equipment, including drawworks, rotary table, and mud pumps, in accordance with operational procedures and safety standards.
- Monitor drilling parameters, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
- Supervise and mentor junior drilling crew members, ensuring adherence to safety practices and operational guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of drilling equipment, identify potential hazards, and report any malfunctions or deficiencies.
- Assist in rig moves, setup, and teardown operations, ensuring all equipment is handled safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate daily drilling logs, reports, and records of equipment maintenance and operational activities.
- Participate in safety meetings and emergency drills, promoting a strong safety culture on the rig.
- Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Driller or Assistant Driller on a drilling rig.
- Proven experience operating various types of drilling equipment.
- Strong understanding of drilling techniques, safety protocols, and well control procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret drilling plans and schematics.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid industry-recognized safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, H2S Alive).
- Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding outdoor environments for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant vocational training or technical degree in drilling operations or a related field.
- Well Control certification (e.g., IWCF or IADC WellSharp).
- Experience with specific rig types (e.g., land rigs, offshore rigs, workover rigs).
- Leadership experience in a drilling crew.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication).
