Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Operations Data Coordinator to join our team in Wagga Wagga. This pivotal role will be responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting on operational data specifically related to our civil and mining projects. You will support project managers and operational teams by providing accurate and timely insights, helping to optimize project performance, resource allocation, and adherence to schedules and budgets. This is an on-site position vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our project information systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and input operational data from various sources, including field reports, equipment logs, and production records.
- Maintain and update project databases and information systems with current operational statistics.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on project progress, resource utilization, safety metrics, and financial performance.
- Assist in the analysis of operational data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Support the implementation and improvement of data collection processes and tools.
- Prepare visual dashboards and presentations to communicate key operational insights.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of data management principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a data coordination or administrative role within the civil construction or mining industry.
- Familiarity with ERP or project management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Project).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
