Job Description
Join our dedicated team in Kensington, London, as a State/Provincial Disability Claims Processor. This rewarding role involves playing a crucial part in the lives of our clients by accurately and compassionately processing disability claims. You will be responsible for reviewing applications, gathering necessary documentation, and making informed decisions in adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies. This position is ideal for individuals with exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to providing excellent service. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success in this vital function.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process new and ongoing disability claims efficiently and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, healthcare providers, and internal teams to gather necessary information.
- Evaluate medical documentation and other supporting evidence to determine claim eligibility.
- Ensure all claims are processed in compliance with state/provincial regulations and company policies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all claim activities and decisions.
- Respond to inquiries regarding claim status and benefit entitlements.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex claim issues.
