Job Description
Are you looking for an active outdoor role where you can contribute to innovative agricultural projects? West Sussex Produce Group is seeking a dedicated Pineapple Farm Labourer to join our team in Horsham. This hands-on role involves general farm duties with a focus on supporting the unique needs of our tropical crop cultivation. No prior experience is necessary as full training will be provided for all tasks, ensuring you develop valuable skills in agricultural practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops, including specialized tropical varieties.
- Performing general farm maintenance tasks such as weeding, irrigation setup, and field preparation.
- Monitoring crop health and reporting any issues to the farm supervisor.
- Operating and maintaining basic farm equipment under supervision.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on the farm.
- Contributing to a clean and organized work environment.
- Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets.
