Job Description
Are you looking to start a rewarding career in a hands-on, outdoor environment? Port Pirie Aquatic Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Pool Maintenance Trainee to join our growing team. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in pool maintenance, as full training will be provided on all aspects of the role. You will learn the fundamentals of pool care, water chemistry, equipment operation, and customer service while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with routine pool cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Learn to test and balance pool water chemistry accurately.
- Support the inspection and basic troubleshooting of pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters).
- Skim pools, vacuum pool bottoms, and brush pool walls.
- Maintain cleanliness of work vehicles and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding service visits and findings.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Accurately complete service logs and reports.
Required Skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Capable of performing physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Possession of a valid Australian Driver's License.
