Job Description
We are seeking a highly reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Public Treasury Vault Assistant. This is an entry-level, on-site position within a high-security environment in Dumfries. No prior experience in vault operations or security is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and security of valuable assets, working under strict protocols and contributing to the efficient operation of our secure facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the precise intake, storage, and retrieval of high-value assets and documents.
- Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of all vault movements and transactions.
- Adhere strictly to all security protocols, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Operate and monitor security systems, including surveillance and access control.
- Prepare assets for secure transport and receive incoming consignments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient vault operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the vault area.
- Report any irregularities or security concerns immediately to supervisory staff.
