Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Recycling Plant Quality Sorter to join our team in Chattanooga. This is an immediate hire position for individuals who are reliable, attentive to detail, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. As a Quality Sorter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our recycling operations by accurately identifying and separating materials on a conveyor line. Full training will be provided, and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be supplied to ensure your safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and manually sort various recyclable materials (e.g., plastics, paper, cardboard, glass, metals) from a conveyor belt.
- Remove contaminants and non-recyclable items from the material stream.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding material flow and quality issues.
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned to support plant operations.

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
