Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to contribute to a greener future? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Recycling Sorters in Belfast. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – full training will be provided to ensure you become a skilled member of our recycling operation. You will be responsible for manually sorting various recyclable materials, ensuring quality and efficiency in our waste processing facility. This role is vital for diverting waste from landfills and creating valuable resources for reuse.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually sort recyclable materials on a conveyor belt, identifying and separating different types of waste such as plastics, paper, cardboard, and metals.
- Ensure the correct segregation of materials to maintain high-quality recycling streams.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workstation and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the facility.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily sorting targets and operational goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisory staff promptly.
- Perform other general labour duties as required to support site operations.

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, or similar industrial environment (advantageous but not essential).
