Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effects and adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Advocate for patient needs and ensure patient rights are upheld.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education activities.
Required Skills
- Current and unrestricted Registered General Nurse (RGN) license from country of origin, eligible for Washington State licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years (24 months) of recent acute care nursing experience.
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency in medical-surgical nursing or a relevant specialty.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and culturally diverse environment.
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Previous experience working in a U.S. healthcare system.
- ACLS or PALS certification.
- Specialty certifications (e.g., critical care, emergency, oncology).
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
