Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Remote Patient Appointment Scheduler for our Healthcare Call Center. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on patient access to care. As an integral part of our patient services, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy.
  • Verify patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
  • Answer patient questions regarding appointments, services, and general inquiries.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Document all patient interactions and communications thoroughly in the system.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and address scheduling conflicts.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to patient scheduling and data privacy.
