Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and welcoming Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our voiceover recording studio in Gateshead. This role is perfect for an organised individual who thrives in a quiet, creative atmosphere and enjoys supporting the smooth operation of a busy studio. You will manage studio bookings, greet clients, handle administrative tasks, and ensure a professional and comfortable environment for our artists and producers.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist clients, voice artists, and visitors to the studio.
- Manage the studio booking schedule efficiently, confirming appointments and resolving conflicts.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain the reception area and client lounge, ensuring they are tidy and presentable.
- Provide administrative support to the studio team, including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Assist with basic studio setup and tear-down for client sessions, as needed.
- Coordinate refreshments and catering for longer sessions.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and studio projects.
Required Skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A friendly, professional, and composed demeanour.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a reception, administrative, or customer-facing role, ideally within a creative or studio environment.
