Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Remote Procurement Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is 100% remote and will be crucial in supporting our procurement operations, with a strong emphasis on data management and order processing. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of our supply chain by maintaining accurate records, processing purchase orders efficiently, and facilitating effective communication with our suppliers. Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently within established guidelines.
- Maintain and update procurement-related data in our internal systems, ensuring data integrity.
- Monitor order statuses, track shipments, and follow up on outstanding orders.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding order discrepancies, delivery schedules, and product information.
- Assist in vendor management by updating supplier records and tracking performance metrics.
- Generate basic procurement reports and analyses to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., inventory, finance) to resolve procurement-related issues.
- Support the procurement team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
