Job Description
Broadcom is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Render’s Assistant to join our Specialist Trade Support team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our trade support functions, working closely with traders, analysts, and other internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support, focusing on data accuracy, report generation, and process optimization within a fast-paced trading environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and rendering of daily, weekly, and monthly trade reports and financial statements.
- Verify accuracy of trade data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Support the trade desk with operational tasks, including trade reconciliation, settlement processes, and exception management.
- Maintain and update trading systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., finance, compliance, IT) and external counterparties to facilitate trade operations.
- Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses as required by senior traders or management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of trade support processes and procedures.
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with financial instruments and basic trading concepts.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with financial trading platforms or order management systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
- Knowledge of SQL or other database querying tools.
- Previous experience in a trade support, back office, or operations role within financial services.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements pertaining to financial trading.
- Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
