Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Reservoir & Dam Maintenance Assistant to join our Public Utilities team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of reservoir and dam structures.
- Perform vegetation control, debris removal, and general groundskeeping around facilities.
- Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Support senior technicians with more complex maintenance tasks and projects.
- Monitor water levels and conditions, reporting any anomalies or concerns.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and departmental procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and observations.
- Participate in emergency response efforts related to water infrastructure, as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

- Basic mechanical aptitude.

- Valid Virginia Driver's License.
