Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team in South Bend. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations, financial performance, and guest experience of our restaurant. This role requires a strong leader who can inspire a diverse team, maintain high standards of quality and service, and drive profitability. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and sales growth.
  • Implement and enforce all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and profitability data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to drive traffic and increase brand awareness.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment for all employees.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in restaurant management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a large team.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including kitchen and dining room management.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including P&L analysis, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and improving guest satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with high-volume, casual dining concepts.
  • Certification in food safety management (e.g., ServSafe).
  • Familiarity with restaurant POS systems and inventory management software.
